Exploring Las Vegas’ Arts District and Downtown

Vegas’ reputation as a town for gambling and partying brings millions of visitors to the city each year. Often referred to as an “adult playground,” most people associate Las Vegas with the bright lights of the Strip, the ringing bells of slot machines, a never-ending nightlife scene unrivaled by any other city in the world. These Vegas stereotypes have created a bit of a misconception that the city has minimal arts or culture of its own.

For the quirky, artistic, and creative traveler looking to get away from the conventional experience, Downtown Las Vegas and the city’s Arts District are hidden gems worth visiting. Only a 10-minute car ride from the Strip, and a 5-minute ride from our dispensary, these neighborhoods are full of art studios, galleries, and vintage shops, as well as many cocktail bars and restaurants that cater to a young and trendy crowd.

Next time you come to stock up on your favorite Oasis products, take a quick trip to Downtown Las Vegas and the Arts District to check out the city’s best bars, restaurants, and stores!
