We are fortunate to have a world-class team made up of amazing people, from different backgrounds who have come together to provide best-in-class service to our wonderful community.
We would not be who we are today without both our team and the local community, and we honor them every single day.
To that end, we have taken time to reflect on our impact and as a team have decided to use our presence to make a difference for our community.
We are thrilled to announce that for the entire summer (through September 20, 2020) we will be taking a percentage of our sales and will donate them to CEIC NV– an organization that benefits people of color in the cannabis community.
CEIC stands for the Cannabis Equity and Inclusion Community and is a non-profit that supports our community members who have been impacted by the war on drugs and associated systematic racism that disproportionately affected people of color. Through their dedicated fund, the Nevada Cannabis Community Reinvestment Fund, the CEIC will provide funding to local organizations focused on addressing mental health, providing legal services for pre-legalization cannabis related charges and other community-based support services, public education, community outreach, and grant distribution to support cannabis education and job placement.
We are so proud to be partnering with an incredible local organization that will not only benefit our neighbors and friends, but our industry as a whole. We appreciate everyone that walks through our doors and support our stance on being fiercely anti-racist. We love the cannabis community and will fight to protect its unique diversity every day.
